Once upon a time when I was a teenager, I used to have THE most amazing flying dreams. I've never had them again after I hit adulthood, but I really miss them.
I can remember one dream where I was learning to run (in the dream) because I was certain it was going to be the closest to flying I could ever get in real life... and you know, every now and then - now that I've learned in real life - it actually does feel that way.
Thanks Tanja,
I have those dreams too, when i'm running like in a cartoon and feel like i'm speeding up in order to fly......it's a weird feeling. I love your posts too about clear communication and communicating for introverts.
Thanks,
I just wanted to stop by your blog and say that I love this post and your writing style, you seem so real and friendly and open and I love that!
I've actually never had a dream that I was flying (that I can remember) but I do fly in meditations. There's a meditation called the Cliff that I found from the Meditation Society of Australia where you imagine yourself flying over the ocean. It's PERFECT!
Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
Hi Dominee,
I looked at your site and it looks amazing too. I love your notes about positive thinking on your Academy Page - they are really wise and nice to hear. That sounds like an awesome meditation, I'll have to try it.
I hope you have a wonderful New Year too:)
I found you through Leonie's circle :) I love Dr. E too, so had to check out a fellow sister on the path's work here.
You described how I've been feeling lately. The first part about the thread and then, the crashing to the ground. Wow, this hit some spots in me that needed it. I love the Tom Petty song too...it's one of my faves of all time. Thanks for this much needed inspiration today :)
Hi Lisa,
I'm glad it resonated with you. I had a look at your site, and I can identify with being a rebel inside.....my birthday is on the 16th and that's the tarot number of rebellion and revolution......there is something inside of me that always wants to do things differently, according to my own version of success and fulfilment, which doesn't often fit with other people's ideas, which is perhaps why i came crashing down! Thanks for your inspiration too:)
Clare,
I love the 16 bit with the tarot. Hooray for rebels! I hear you about things not fitting with others' ideas. Oh, I so hear you, sister. :) Thanks for checking out my site too. It's great to connect with you and other lovelies at Leonie's :) xoxo
